Support Us on Ko-fi
AppVerse Games is a small independent studio in South Africa. We make puzzle and board games that anyone can play free in a browser, with no sign-up and nothing to install. If our games have given you a good few minutes, you can help keep them free by supporting us on Ko-fi.
Giving is entirely optional. Every game stays the same for everyone, whether you give or not.
Why support AppVerse Games?
Free games still cost money to make and run. Ads cover part of the cost, but we keep them few and out of the way and suitable for all ages. Support from players lets us keep it that way while we build new games and improve the ones you already play.
What your support pays for
- Hosting and the website. The servers and domain that keep the games online and fast.
- New games. Time to design, build and test new puzzles and traditional board games, including games from Southern Africa such as Morabaraba and Tsoro.
- Phone and tablet versions. Developer accounts and test devices for the Android and Windows releases.
- Fixes and improvements. Better controls, clearer rules pages and support for more screens.
How Ko-fi works
Ko-fi is a platform where people can give a small one-off amount, often the price of a coffee, to creators they like. You do not need a Ko-fi account to give. You can pay by card or PayPal, and Ko-fi handles the payment, so we never see your card details.
- Use the Ko-fi panel on this page, or open our Ko-fi page.
- Choose an amount and, if you like, add a short message.
- Pay securely through Ko-fi.
Our promise to supporters
- Support is a gift. It does not unlock content, remove ads or give anyone an advantage in a game.
- No pressure. No countdowns, no guilt messages and no games hidden behind a donation. A small Support Us button is as far as we go.
- Honest reporting. We explain where our money comes from on our page How AppVerse Games Is Funded.
- Your privacy. Ko-fi processes your payment. Our Privacy Policy explains what information we receive.
For adults only
Support on Ko-fi is for adults only. If you are under 18, please do not give money. You can still help us for free in the ways below.
Other ways to help, for free
Money is only one way to help a small studio. These cost nothing and make a real difference:
- Play and share. Send a game you enjoy to a friend or family member.
- Tell us what to fix. Spot a bug or a confusing rule? Contact us and let us know.
- Suggest a game. Is there a traditional board game you would love to play online? Tell us.
- Bookmark us. Come back to our games whenever you need a break.
